Barefoot Bowls Hobart
Established in 1891 the Royal Hobart Bowling Club is one of the oldest bowling clubs in Tasmania and is located within Battery Point. The prefix “Royal” was granted by His Majesty in 1932 and is unique amongst bowling clubs world-wide along with historical significance to the local community.
Within a quiet location, the club is a short picturesque stroll from the Hobart City Centre and adjacent to the historic Angelsea Barracks, as well as the world renowned Salamanca and waterfront areas. The club has a bbq area, kitchen, dining room, Wifi with bar facilities.
Having Mt Wellington as a backdrop there are views to the city, waterfront, River Derwent and surrounding suburbs which makes for a most enjoyable game of bowls. The playing area consists of 2 synthetic greens which allows for 8 rinks of bowling accommodating up to 64 players.
